“Man is a social animal” - Aristotle, our programme of B.A. is highly design to the way to develop sense of social responsibility, humanity, mutual brother hood, sense of nationalism, enhance communicative and live skills. The course empowers student to become a responsible citizen and face various social challenges. Development of critical and analytical thinking, including the ability to form and argument, detect fallacies and material evidence , about key issues of public issues and politics.

History

1.  Study in History enables students to develop better understanding of the world in which believe. Building knowledge and understating of Historical events makes students to develop a much greater appreciation for current event students.

2.  Students will be able to acquire basic historical research skills, including the effective use of libraries, archives and data bases.

3.  Analyze relationship between the past and the present.

4.  Students will be able to recognize how different individuals, groups, organisations, societies, cultures, countries and nations have affected historically. History gives the students wisdom and foresight for the future.

Political Science

4.  Apply economic theories to contemporary social issues as well as formulation and analysis of policies.

5.  Knowing the problems of unemployment, poverty, rising economic and social inequality and problems of regional imbalances of the Country.

6.  Understating the various concepts such as GDP, GNP, NNP, Personal Income, Disposable Income, Percapita Income and National Income.

7.  Students will be for caste the future course of changes and development through their knowledge of policies and programmes set by the government and other development agencies.

Bachelor of Science

Physics :

We aim to provide a firm foundation in every aspect of physics including modern trends and to develop experimental ,computational and mathematical skills of students.

The students learn the importance of measurement and methodology of using different measuring devices.

The B.SC (Physics Hons.) programme also aims to develop this following abilities : -

1.  Read, Understand and interpret verbal, mathematical and graphical introduction.

2.  To give application based education in physics at the UG level, by offering elective papers to the choice of students.

3.  Perform experiments and interpret the results of observation.

4.  Use ICT to gather knowledge.

The Syllabi are formed in such a way that it bridges the gap between the intermediate and post graduate levels of physics by providing a completer and more logical framework in almost all areas of basic physics.

By the end of 2nd Semester, The Students have attained a knowledge in mechanics, mathematical physics, Secure foundation in mathematics and chemistry, electricity and magnetism, Physical optics and Languages.

By the end of fourth semester, the students should have been introduced to powerful tools for tackling a wide range of topics in thermodynamics, Modern physics, Analog and digital electronics and develop their experimental and data analysis skills through a wide range of experiments through practical classes at laboratory.

By the end of 6th semester, The students should have developed their understanding at core physics including Quantum mechanics i.e solid states physics and devices, Electro magnetic theory statistical mechanics, Classical dynamics and Nuclear and Particle physics.

Mathematics :

Mathematics is the study of Quantity, Structure, Space and change and it has a bread scope in science engineering and social sciences. The key areas of study in mathematics are calculus, Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, differential equations and mechanics.

Programme specific outcome of B.sc(Hons. Mathematics) :

1.  Think in a critical manner.

2.  Acquire good knowledge and understanding to solve problems in advanced areas of mathematics and statistics.

3.  Demonstrate proficiency in writing proofs.

4.  Motivate students to undertake further studies in mathematics and its allied areas on multiple disciplines concerned with mathematics.

5.  Inculcate mathematical reasoning and identity connection between theory and application .

6. Have professional skills to ensure a productive career and work in multidisciplinary environment.

By the end of this program a students will be able to expand his/her mathematical or statistical experience when needed.

Chemistry :

The purpose of B.Sc (Chemistry Hons.) program is to provide the key knowledge and laboratory resources to prepare students for careers professionals in the field of chemistry and related fields. By the end of this program, Students will follows :

1.  Have a firm foundation in the fundamentals and applications of chemical and scientific theories including those in analytic inorganic ,organic and physical chemistries.

2.  Be able to design and carry out scientific experiments as well as record and analyse the results.

3.  Appreciate the central roleof chemistry in our society and use this as abasis for ethical behavior in issues facing chemist including safe handling of chemicals, Environmental issues and key issues facing our society in energy , health and medicines .

4.  Be able to explain using chemistry is a integral activity for addressing social, economical and environmental programs.

5.  Be able to function as a member of an interdisciplines problem solving team.
