The Department of Botany, College offers three years degree courses in B.Sc. (Hons.) and subsidiary/General.

Objectives : To sustain and provide formal and informal education about plants.Understanding of plant science through first hand experience and expert guidance.To promote interactive teaching-learning methods by formulating a need oriented and students centric academic curriculum.

Department of Chemistry of Bokaro Steel City College, Bokaro was founded in 1981 started on the premises of Bokaro Steel City College, Bokaro.

B.Sc. (Core/General) under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) started from academic year 2015-2016.

We have a well equipped laboratory containing the instruments needed for conducting practical Classes for B.Sc. Degree students.

To introduce Mathematics to the society as an expression of the human mind, which reflects the active will, contemplative reason and develops the desire for aesthetic perfection

To create an environment where the faculties continue to grow as scholars provinding professional and social contribution.

To encourage students in developings project skills and to make students socially active.

Zoology is the study of animals where the students receive a highly comprehensive exposure to all levels of animal function such as anatomy, physiology, development, behavior, genetics, evolution and taxonomy of both living and extinct animals. In this stream, students delve at a deeper level about how animals interact with the ecosystem.

Department has a well equipped laboratory with a good collection of specimens, models, charts as well as a department library to widen student’s knowledge.
